Can run on your own server

The person you're helping runs a single file and reads you the six characters on their screen — the session begins. No install, no account, no restart. VizzDesk is one program, and if you choose, not a single byte leaves your company's server.

How it works

Your first session takes three steps, no more.

None of these steps involves admin rights, a setup wizard or a restart. The only skill the remote person needs is reading six characters over the phone.

1Download & run

Send one file

The person you're helping runs a single file downloaded from your address. It doesn't install — it just opens. Close it, and it's gone without a trace.

2Ask for the code

They read six characters

A six-character session code appears on their screen. Reading it over the phone is enough; no account, no address to type.

3Connect

Their screen, in front of you

You enter the code, they approve the on-screen prompt, and the session starts. File transfer, clipboard and chat are ready in the same window.

One console

Forty machines or four — all on one screen.

Your unattended devices are grouped in the admin panel by company, branch and tag. Who is online, which agent is outdated, when a machine was last seen — you just look. The panel runs in the browser; nothing extra is installed on the technician's computer for management.

VizzDesk access console: a device list of 40 machines; views by company and status on the left, online/offline filters and Connect buttons in the middle, the selected device's detail panel on the right

Every session goes on record, with a name and a time.

Your support history answers "who, when, which machine" months later. When a customer asks "what was done last Tuesday?", the answer is a record, not a guess.

  • Sessions get names: "Outlook profile repair" — searchable later
  • Pending, active and completed sessions in separate filters
  • The audit log is immutable; even an administrator can't delete it

Capabilities

Everything a support session needs — and nothing it doesn't.

The technician console is an application, the admin panel is a web page. The only thing asked of the person on the remote side is to read six characters.

Instant support

You read the code over the phone, they type it, the session starts. No admin rights, no setup wizard, no restart.

Unattended access

Install the agent once and reach the machine even when no one is at the desk. No waiting for someone in the server room.

File transfer & clipboard

Drag and drop, or copy and paste. File traffic flows over a separate channel; a large transfer doesn't freeze the screen image.

Elevated screens

When a User Account Control (UAC) prompt appears, the session doesn't go dark; keyboard and mouse keep working on elevated windows.

Multi-monitor & privacy screen

Switch between monitors or view them all at once. When needed, black out the remote monitor so bystanders can't watch.

Chat & audit log

Message each other inside the session. Who connected to which machine, and when — all of it goes into an immutable audit log.

Security & encryption

You always know who is watching.

Remote support software, by its nature, opens someone's screen to somebody else. That is why the first rule of our security model is not secrecy but visibility.

  • Consent gate. Remote control doesn't start until the person on the other side approves the on-screen prompt. If consent is refused, the session never opens.
  • A status banner that can't be hidden. While the screen is shared, the warning banner and the system-tray indicator cannot be turned off — the user always sees that someone is watching.
  • All transport is encrypted with TLS. Every connection between the panel, the agent and the relay server is encrypted; certificates renew automatically.
  • The relay server never opens the content. It doesn't know the session and doesn't decode the data; it is a dumb pipe connecting two ends. That's not a limitation — it is the model.
  • Session authority is signed. A technician's right to connect to a machine is carried by a cryptographically signed, short-lived authorization token.
  • The file you download is signed. The agent binary carries a timestamped code signature from a verified publisher — Windows tells you where the file came from and that it hasn't been altered.
  • Two-step verification is mandatory. The second step cannot be switched off on technician and administrator accounts.

An honest note: VizzDesk does not claim end-to-end encryption. Whoever operates the installation — you on your own server, or us on the hosted setup — is technically inside the trust chain. Rather than selling this as “end-to-end”, we write it down; the option to put the server on your own rack exists precisely for this reason.

Why VizzDesk

Three things competitors don't solve. We do.

The three points below are not marketing slogans; they are direct consequences of how the product is built. The mechanism is written under each one.

1

One download, one binary

The technician side and the remote-machine side are not separate products. You download the same file; the program chooses its role as it starts. The "which version do I download?" question disappears — because there is one version.

Result: one version number, one update path, no version mismatch between technician and agent.

2

Every company's data in a separate file

Customers are not mixed row by row inside one giant database. Each company has its own database file — its devices, its users, its session history, all inside that file.

Result: forgetting a filter in a query cannot return another company's data. Backing up one company is copying one file.

3

On your own server, if you choose

Use our hosted setup, or — planning the rollout together — install all of it on your own server: it is the same product, not a restricted "on-premise edition". Your domain, your certificate, your rules.

Result: you decide where your data lives.
Self-hosted installation — a separate option

Unattended devices are included in the plan — no per-device fee.

You don’t pay separately for each machine you install the agent on. In most competing products a "managed device" is its own line item and the invoice grows with the device count; a VizzDesk invoice changes only with the number of technicians working at the same time.

14-day free trial — we don't ask for a credit card. Nothing is charged automatically when the trial ends; if you want to continue, you pick a plan in the panel.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes; your invoice is issued with the applicable tax added.

On your own server

On-premise installation is a separate option.

The three plans above are for our hosted setup. If you want to run VizzDesk entirely on your own server, that is not a plan option but an installation we discuss separately — licensing, initial setup and the update path work differently.

Technician

Browser console

The admin panel is a web page; the technician app is a single file.

Your infrastructure

VizzDesk server

Panel · relay server · a separate database per company. All of it on your machine, on your domain.

Managed devices

Windows 10 · 11 · Server

Agents download the installer from your address; no access to our servers is needed.

Your data stays with you, your keys stay with you, you set the rules — we are absent from this diagram, and that is deliberate.

  • Your data stays on your server

Session traffic, the device list and the logs never leave your infrastructure; no session data flows to us.

  • The same product, one binary

The agent and the technician app are the same file; there is no restricted "on-premise edition". Installation and updates run through one file.

  • Every company in its own database file

Tenant isolation is at the file level: one company's data is never inside another company's file, and a backup is one file copy.

  • Your domain, your certificate

The installation lives on your domain. For TLS you can upload your own certificate, use your internal certificate authority, or obtain one automatically.

  • Can be installed on an air-gapped network

The product does not depend on an external CDN, font or script service. Activation can be done by carrying two text blocks across by hand.

  • Updates arrive as signed packages

A package whose signature fails verification is never run. Your database, keys and published agent files stay in place across updates.

  • Term license with explicit ceilings

Usage rights are read from a signed license file: term, company and device ceilings. Even if the license expires, access to your existing data is not cut off.

  • Agent files download from your server

Your users and technicians download the installer from your address; no access to our servers is needed for installation.

An honest note: the on-premise installation is not a package you buy in the panel and download the same day. Its architecture and installation flow are designed — one binary, signed distribution, a license file, a virtual machine image — and implementation is in progress. That is why the first installations happen together with us, on an agreed schedule. We don’t think it would be right to say "download and install" before it is ready.

Frequently asked

What people ask before buying.

What exactly does "concurrent technician" mean?

It is the number of technicians who can run support sessions at the same time. Technician accounts are unlimited on Standard and Premium; what you pay for is how many of those accounts can be connected simultaneously. If a team of ten works in shifts with at most three connected at once, three licenses are enough.

Does the remote person have to install anything?

Not for instant support. They run a single file and read you the six-character code on the screen; no installation, no admin rights, no restart. If you want permanent access, the same file is installed once as an agent.

Do I download different programs for the technician and the remote machine?

No. VizzDesk is a single binary; the program chooses its role when it starts. That is why there is one version number and one update path.

Where is our data kept?

You have two options: use our hosted setup, or install VizzDesk entirely on your own server. When you run it yourself, session traffic, the device list and the logs never leave your infrastructure.

On our hosted setup, each company's data lives in its own database file; customers are not mixed into one giant table.

Can we install it on our own server?

Yes, that is the path we have planned — but let’s be honest: this is not a package you buy in the panel and download the same day. The installation flow is designed (one binary, signed distribution, a term license file, a ready virtual machine image) and implementation is in progress; the first installations happen together, on an agreed schedule. That is also why we don’t publish a list price and scope each installation in a conversation.

Is there end-to-end encryption?

All transport is encrypted with TLS and the relay server never opens the content. However, whoever operates the installation is technically inside the trust chain; for that reason we do not claim "end-to-end encryption". If you want that trust chain entirely on your side, you can install the server on your own rack.

Do you ask for a credit card during the trial?

No. The trial is 14 days, no card details are requested, and nothing is charged automatically when it ends. If you want to continue, you pick a plan in the panel and pay.

How do payments work — do we get an invoice?

Payments are made by credit card over the secure infrastructure of a licensed payment provider; your card details never touch our servers. A legal invoice is issued for every payment. Prices are in US dollars.

How do I cancel the subscription?

You can cancel from the panel with one click; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and the service continues unchanged until then. Refund terms are provided to you in writing before purchase.

Which operating systems are supported?

Today the agent and technician app run on Windows 10, Windows 11 and Windows Server. The admin panel is browser-based and opens from any desktop operating system. macOS and Linux agents are on our roadmap; we don't list them before they are ready.

Can I change plans or the number of technicians?

Yes. You can raise or lower the number of concurrent technicians at any time and switch between plans. Increases apply immediately; decreases take effect at the end of the period.
